Pompano Beach Classes

We have two wonderful instructors teaching classes in Pompano Beach this weekend.  Check out the information on the website under Pompano Beach http://beadshows.com/show/load.action?city=Pompano+Beach&state=FL&start=3%2F6%2F2010&end=3%2F7%2F2010&cascade=classesTaste Of Metal Clay

One of the classes is a Taste of Metal Clay.  Now is a good time to learn a new technique so you can create your own focal points.  Bernadette Denoux is a jewelry artist and metal clay instructor living and working in Miami, Florida.  Bernadette believes in being a life-long learner. She continues to take courses in various jewelry techniques to enhance her work, and to educate her students. She belongs to several guilds and organizations such as Florida Society of Goldsmiths, Art Clay Society, PMC Guild, South Florida Jewelry Arts Guild, Enamel Guild South, Gem and Mineral Society of South Florida, Art Center South Florida, Bakehouse Art Complex, and is the chapter leader of Miami Metal Clay Artists which is a local chapter of Art Clay Society USA. In 2008 Bernadette started teaching jewelry techniques with metal clay at Miami Dade College. Currently she is also teaching at The Alper Jewish Community Center, Deering Estate, and in 2010 has scheduled workshops in Fairchild Gardens and Art Center South Florida. Recently one of her pieces was chosen to be a part of a prestigious calendar called ?The Art and Design of Metal Clay Jewelry? for 2010.
